Email error in loading emails this morning

When I sign in I can't get any of my emails. I get An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request. Then Error: failed to load messages. I have cleared my cache, cookies and history and retried it. The same thing happens.

I set up to receive my emails on my phone and I get the same thing.

Are your servers down?

I am getting the following message -

Error

The connection to remote server imap-east.ge.xfinity.com was refused or timed out while attempting to connect. Please try again later.
Is the system down?? Attleboro MA

Similar problems here (SC) as well.  I keep getting this error message:  "The connection to remote server imap-east.ge.xfinity.com was refused or timed out while attempting to connect. Please try again later."

Experiencing this error message in Lancaster, PA as well.  "The connection to remote server imap-east.ge.xfinity.com was refused or timed out while attempting to connect. Please try again later."

To access your account, will you please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

Similar in Chicago too. "Unable to connect to mail server. Possible reasons: The mail server is (temporarily) down or there are network connection problems."

It seems that I can't even open or delete emails because of a server issue in the Connecticut area! It's been going on for hours! When will the issues be fixed? :(
