I've checked the server logs and its hard to tell what exactly caused it, but 2 email clients connected prior to moving a large amount of emails into trash. iPhone Mail and iPad Mail connected via IMAP and then logs of continous deletions of emails started. Check the trash on both devices and also check any "recover deleted email" options on the devices. You can also check the xfinity.com email recovery option for any of the emails.
Thank you for the reply. I was able to recover some emails, but not everything. Would you know why that's the case? It hasn't been 30 days since this occurred.
I'm still dumb-founded as to how the emails were deleted anyway. I had received notification the mailbox was getting full and then everything disappeared. Is this an automatic setting for email?
