Email directs me to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information

I have had an Xfinity email for decades. Yes, decades. After my family and I moved out of footprint, I made sure to login to my comcast.net email within 90 days. I tried logging in recently as I do time to time since it isn't my primary email and keep getting redirected to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information. A 3 hour call with support didn't help. How can I access my inbox? Everything shows my account is still active, but every time I try to login I get routed to that page. https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite routes me to that same account email information page as well. How do I get into my inbox?

Tactical_noot_incoming Hello and thank you for reaching out ot Xfinity via our Community Forums. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and the time you've spent trying to access your Xfinity email. We understand how important it is to maintain access, especially since you logged in within the "out of footprint" period. The redirect to the account-email-information page suggests a system conflict or a status issue with your email account, despite your general account remaining active.

Please try these steps, as they have resolved similar redirect issues:

  1. Clear Browser Data: Completely clear your browser's cache and cookies. This can often resolve redirect loops.

  2. Try a Different Browser or Device: Attempt to log into your email via a browser you rarely use (like Edge, Firefox, or Safari) or the Xfinity App on your mobile device.

  3. Direct Login Test: Try accessing your email directly at https://www.google.com/search?q=connect.xfinity.com after clearing your browser data.

If the problem persists, this likely requires a deeper account review. Please Direct Message us with your full name and service address/account number so our specialized team can investigate the email account status and its settings behind the scenes. We're here to help get you back into your inbox.
