email blocked from known business

Xfinity/Comcast has blocked all email coming from a business. The web host of the email for the business is network solutions, and the business has it's own domain name and email address. I tried making an email rule to send all email with the biz email address into my Inbox, but that didn't work. I'd appreciate any help! Email from our employees from this business are blocked.

Hello there, and good afternoon! Thank you for bringing this to our attention through our Forums, and thank you for your patience while awaiting our response.

I understand that you've been having a hard time sending out emails, under the business's email domain, and I can totally imagine the inconvenience behind this, especially when that communication can be extremely important for the business.

Is this all email recipients, or just certain email addresses that are unable to receive the emails? Thank you in advance, and I look forward to working with you!

Hi Tyler,

My husband's business' emails are getting blocked by comcast/xfinity. He and his employees email me frequently, and their emails get bounced back.

Thank  you for your help!

You are most welcome!

For this I would like to run a few tests and see what is triggering the emails to be blocked. If you would please send us a direct message with your name and address I can help out.

To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a live chat.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3J0ir1l
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

@smundy

Can you please provide further detail to what you're having issues with? I'm looking at our logs and it shows that we have delivered 22 emails in the past 14 days to your inbox from the domain.

I'm having the same problem and have spoken with 'high level' support and they are NOT HELPFUL! I have several domains that are blocked and I'm missing important email from legit companies. For example after ordering something I get no order confirmation.  For example @esalerugs is blocked. Why is this happening? The last support person I spoke with said he was going to push all the blocked email through but guess what? No email! Another tech person said to contact all the companies that were blocked and aske THEM why email is blocked! How am I supposed to know exactly who is and isn't blocked if I am not getting the email??? This all started about 6 weeks ago when all of the sudden I was getting about 70 spam messages a day. When the spam stopped so did the legit email. I'm getting all personal email (it appears so anyhow) but not all business related. Nobody will help!

@user_a0f600 can you please provide more specific details? is the domain @esalerugs.com, .net, .org? also any and all email domains would be helpful so I can start looking into this for you. Its also not uncommon for large influx of spam to be associated with an email compromise meaning that its possible your email was used to also distribute spam. This can mean in the literal or spoofing sense and if not all email servers/services are using spoof-detection methods then you could end up being blocked. If any businesses use standard industry services (like most do) they can place you on a block list that will prevent communication to you. Unfortunately, Comcast does not use them and would be unable to tell you if they are blocking emails to you or if they have added your email to their listings to stop sending you emails. There are also other services like read-receipt confirmations. Some business or commercial related emails will notice with read-receipt if you haven't read their emails and unsubscribe you. Its rare for a business to usually get blocked by Comcast and its much more common for there to be a misconfiguration on the business' email server or the email domain blocking email to our customers.  To note, if any business is being blocked by Comcast, there will ALWAYS be a bounce message delivered from our server indicating to the business/sender on how to unblock and resolve any issues that may exist in reaching comcast.net customers.

EDIT: additional thing to note, not all businesses use emails directly from their domain name (for example esalerugs.com, if its the domain may not be sending emails from esalerugs.com). If that is the case, just please review any previous emails you have received that you no longer do and check from what email those messages came from.
