email attachments

My email switched over to the new format. I am not able to attach a PDF to my email by the attachment paper clip nor drag and drop any more

The "new" format must not be working correctly....it reverted back to the old format now. My attachments work in that format. @@

Arghhh....back to the new format this morning and back to lack of attachment ability.....is anyone else having this problem?

@edgeton1​ Could you be more clear about the new/old format?  Are you using the webmail, or something else?  Any chance you could post a screenshot (please obscure any Personal Information)

Good morning @edgeton1 and all. If you need assistance with email concerns. Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

 

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

For 2 days my webmail opened up in a new format. After closing and reopening it the old format came back. It has not opened in the new format since.

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
