Email asked me for my pw and does not work

Suddenly today tried to call up email on my Samsung phone and it wants password. I enter it and it does not work. Deleted my comcast email and Gmail, then booted the phone. Tried to add comcast mail back and it still will not work. I can login on my computer just fine.

Same thing happened to me.  Xfinity password works fine on my computer, but not on my Samsung Galaxy S23+. I have rebooted the phone several times, but for some reason, it will not accept the the Xfinity password and keeps asking for it saying "There was a problem signing in to your account. Enter your password again. If you've changed your password recently, make sure you enter the new password." I have not changed my password recently. This just happened today.

@K3MKOORS​ Update - I solved the problem by re-enabling security access by third-party programs.

Update email security settings

  1. Sign in to Xfinity Email using your Xfinity ID and password (using a computer).
  2. In the top-right corner, click the Gear icon, then select Settings.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Check the box under Third Party Access Security to allow third-party programs access to your Xfinity Email, or uncheck the box to prevent access.
