email archive
Longtime comcast/xfinity email user constantly running low on xfinity email storage space.
I manage emails thru Outlook & regularly archive (in outlook).
Are those archives being stored to my local drive and removed from my xfinity storage limit? Or do I need to do something further to do so?

You should log in to webmail and see if there is an archive folder there. Chances are there will be. I just did a test in Thunderbird moving a message to my Archive folder. It did not delete the message from the server, only from my Inbox in Thunderbird. I use IMAP to download my messages, btw.
If you're running low on space, logging in to webmail will tell you how much space you have by clicking on the gear icon. Space is measured in all folders so you may want to look at them all.
Also, with the transition to Yahoo! Mail, you might want to keep an eye out of the official mail that will tell you when and how to migrate. That email will have the official Xfinity logo next to.

Figured out the issue - my (many) Outlook sub-folders were not archiving on the default Outlook archive policy, effectively leaving them untouched by each archive cycle. I needed to right click on each Outlook sub-folder, click properties/auto-archive to set each to my default archive policy. Xfinity server usage looking much better...
