email Address Books

Can someone tell me how Comcast Address books are stored? Can you access the Comcast Address books outside Xfinity Connect?

For example, I have an address book in Xfinity Connect. I cannot access those contacts anywhere else.

Using Outlook to access my Comcast email, I was able to load a set of email addresses to what I thought was my Comcast account. I cannot access those email addresses anywhere else.

I cannot access any Comcast Address books (Xfinity Connnect and Outlook) from my iphone.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can export the address book, then import it into another email program. On the Inbox page click on "Address book" in the top menu bar, and on the landing page click on "Address book" again in the left pane. Click on the "hamburger" icon to the right of it and then on "Export".

I know how to import and export addresses. Can anyone explain how Comcast Address books are stored? Where is it? Can it be accessed by my phone or in a program outside of xfinity.com? Why is it not accessible on my Outlook client? What did I load in Outlook and where are those names and addresses?

That's a great question, @drotnet! Are you able to receive emails on your Outlook client as a test? If not, you may need to log into your Xfinity Connect (webmail) and enable the Third Party Access.
