I have an older non-comcast account that's set t oforward the emails to my comcast.net account and nothing has appeared in outlook. When I go to the xfinity email browser this email do  don't appear their either.

I have the feeling my xfinity isn't accepting any incoming email.

The last time I received an email was yesterfay morning. I typically receive 50 - 100 email daily. Some important and some junk.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

It sounds frustrating to deal with email issues, especially when you rely on them for communication. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. Check Email Account Status:

    • Ensure your Comcast.net email account is active. You can view the status of your email account by logging into your Xfinity account and navigating to the email settings section. If your account is inactive, logging in should reactivate it.
  2. Verify Email Forwarding Settings:

    • Double-check the forwarding settings on your older non-Comcast account to ensure emails are being forwarded correctly. Sometimes, forwarding rules can be misconfigured or disabled.
  3. Clear Cache and Cookies:

    • If you're accessing your email through a browser, clear the cache and cookies. Corrupt browser data can sometimes cause issues with email loading and syncing.
  4. Check Spam and Filters:

    • Ensure that spam filters or other email rules aren't blocking or redirecting incoming emails. Sometimes, legitimate emails can be mistakenly flagged as spam.
  5. Reconfigure Outlook:

    • Try removing and re-adding your Comcast.net email account in Outlook. Ensure that the IMAP/POP settings are correctly configured. You might also want to check if there are any updates available for Outlook.

user_51dfq1 I believe this is what you are looking for.

  1. Open your email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird).
  2. Navigate to the option to add a new account.
  3. Enter your nameComcast email address (e.g., username@comcast.net), and password.
  4. Choose IMAP as the account type.
  5. Configure the incoming mail server with:
    • Server Name: imap.comcast.net
    • Port: 993
    • Security: SSL/TLS
    • Username: Your Comcast email address
    • Password: Your Comcast email password
  6. Configure the outgoing mail server with:
    • Server Name: smtp.comcast.net
    • Port: 587
    • Security: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS
    • Authentication: Yes, require authentication
    • Username: Your Comcast email address
    • Password: Your Comcast email password
  7. Verify the settings and complete the setup process.
