After 2 hours on the phone they "coached" me into a reset of the Xfinity account. After two resets same lost mail box. I have had this a few times over many years and it is always a big production. In the past that required an overnight fix. I have now reset the account twice to no avail. Maybe in the darkness there will be success. If an account is hacked I may not know abut it for weeks until I try a withdrawal . Back to the little Chat Box.

If I had the IMAP address for adding a mail account I could just open a new account and direct everyone to that. But I need something called an IMAP address Does anyone know where that is so I can make a new mailbox??

When I try to add a new email account I am told that I need an IMAP address, whatever that is. Does anyone know what the "IMAP address" is for making a new mailbox account?

"The provided login data to access mail server imap.comcast.net seem to be wrong. Please correct them"
The above is a message I get when I sign on to my mail. How can something SEEM TO BE WRONG. Sending and receiving on my REMAINING email "boxes" works OK.
The "Pease Correct Them" is another gem. How can I correct this technical jargon?
The Blairsville node must be conducting a "work action". An email account is "removed" and now this. What next?
