email access via POP3 or IMAP fails but works via WebMail

Suddenly (when Xfinity without warning disabled my passwords, so I had to change all of them once I figured out this is why I can't receive emails from there), ONE of the email accounts can not be accessed from either POP3 (Thunderbird) or IMAP (from Amdroid phone).
I can log into the account on Xfinity.com, but the same password doesn't work on external access (and yes, I checked the permission on the account, external access IS enabled)

Anyone has any ideas?

@user_02ro75 Thank you for making us aware that you're having issues accessing your email using third party email servers. Have you tried deleting the email apps from your devices, then reinstalling them to see if that works. Also, have you tried visiting this link to see what the settings should be on each email client https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email?

Thank you for responding. However, the problem resolved itself .. Apparently the server (comcast.net) needed a few hours to realize the change. (I am not sure why only one account was affected, but at least now it works)

I am still perplexed by the lack of warning about the password change requirement... I only realized my emails aren't coming through when i logged in to the Web Mail... Rather disturbing)
