eFax, As Opposed To Machine Fax
Comcast is my ISP and, on the same wireless network I have a Mac Monterey and Windows 10 computes. As of two months ago my only Comcast email account quit allowing me to put through eFaxes. For those unfamiliar, eFax is an alternative to the customary fax machine, sending and receiving through one's email account. I had to use to send these, not by my choice, my GMAIL address instead. My Comcast address links on Monterey with Thunderbird. On Windows 10 there is a Mail app that my Comcast address links with. But I have tried to send eFaxes through those and the Comcast Account itself. Could the problem lie in the Comcast Account itself? My telephone service provider is Magicjack For Business. They are working on it from their end. Since the recipients' number are government agencies, I thought there might be deliberate blocking. Magicjack does not believe that is the case.

"Quit allowing" doesn't tell us much. What happens when you try to send an eFax? Any error messages? The more details you can provide, the better.

I had only used my one Comcast email address to send faxes up until about April 23. Then, the faxes did not go through. When they transmitted I usually got more than just a copy to myself. An email with the Subject line, "Your fax was delivered" appeared in my inbox upon successful transmission. As of about April 23, nothing. I have not received an email message like this in the Subject line; but when there is a serious error, the Subject line in the response says, "Something went wrong." I am just trying to describe how the service works normally; but for two months it hasn't.

Have you checked with eFax? https://www.efax.com/efax-help-center says:

I used eFax as a general term, not the name of my provider. That would have been magicjackforbusiness. They are checking into it from their end.
