Like previous members, I'm getting "The provided login data to access mail server imap.comcast.net seem to be wrong. Please correct them."
When I 'changed' the password, it still gave the the same status - The entered credential or authentication information does not work or are no longer accepted by provider. Please change them.
And my Mac keeps popping up the message "Cannot send message using server Comcast. The sender address i....@comcas.net was rejected by the server smtp.comcast.net"

I've been getting the first two errors for weeks ( not the Mac error, as I'm on Windows). Phone calls to tech support and forum messages are useless.

Hello, @userHCNJ
Once you changed your password did you clear the cookies and cache in the browser you are using? I recommend going to customer.xfinity.com/settings/xid/uidemail to view your email status in your account. You may be asked to sign in using your Xfinity ID and password first.
