Did Comcast turn off their spam filters?

I am literally getting spam every 5-10 minutes - this is driving me crazy! A ton of spam is slipping through the filters too (assuming they're active), going to my inbox instead of the spam folder.

Check to make sure the filters are still enabled for your account.  On the Inbox page click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, then on "Email Settings>>>>>>Mail>>>>.Advanced Settings".  Scroll down a little to see the option to enable or disable it.

Of course I have spam filtering turned on - not a newbie here. Oddly, after writing this post, as of 10:30 am Sat morning only found 3 in my spam folder and 1 in my inbox after getting 20 spam emails yesterday. Ha - another one showed up in my spam folder while I was typing this!

Note: very few of the spams have convoluted "from" line like this one:

Consumer_Survey <14ekw8n5fq273hr+tspyajdncr@strongfinishresults.com>

Most have normal domain names like this:

Neuropathy Treatment Group

The ones that really bug me are those with security issues like this, my email app gets stuck until I click "no", which sometimes takes multiple clicks, and occasionally I'll click too fast (one time too many) which means I click on the embedded link in the image, taking me to the spammed website where I'm potentially exposed to malicious code - see example below:

Has been happening to me as well. Hundreds of spam emails every week! Why is comcast self-destructing their email services? No spam filtering & no app for cell phones since xfinity connect was discontinued. Horrible!

Many of the spam emails are designed to look like comcast admin emails. Don’t be fooled!
