Deleting my old Comcast Email Account

I have deleted my old Comcast e-mail account, but my name@comcast.net keeps blocking some of my accounts.  How can I permanently and universally delete it?

Hello @KKS40 You typically cannot delete the primary user ID on an account since it manages the entire account including disconnected ones. But I'm a little confused what you mean by it is deleted but still blocking some of my accounts. What is it blocking and what are you seeing on your end?

CBpdx Hi there! I can understand why that's frustrating. In many cases, an old Xfinity ID that's tied to a comcast.net email address can't be completely deleted through self-service options, especially if it's still connected to an account profile. A good place to start is reviewing your Xfinity ID settings and username options here:

That article explains how Xfinity IDs and email addresses are connected, what changes can be made, and the options available for managing older usernames. If the comcast.net email is still associated with an active or previously active account, there may be limitations on removing it entirely.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions about the information in the article.
