deleted email account

My email address was deleted and trying to reestablish the same email address since it has been used for important business communications since 2007. When trying to reset the email I get the message that this email exists. The primary account holder is my boss and I am one of the user on the account. 

Also there is a new account under my boss' name which was linked to the old account when the order was placed.  They shouldn't have been linked at all. However my emails show in this new account up to a certain day when any email activity stopped for this email address.

I have been in touch with Xfinity Tech support 2-3 times spending hours trying to find the way to clear out this mess. I am going around in circles and still no result. It is very important to reestablish the same email address for the sake of business contacts. 

With the email address my Xfinity ID has disappeared as well. No trace of the address but still the message says it exists.

It is a tangled mess. If you could help it would be appreciated greatly.  Thanks.

How was the email address deleted?  By accident?  Or was it a deliberate act on your part or your boss's?  Is this a residential or a business account?  When a user ID (that part of the email address to the left of the @ symbol) is changed or deleted, it is suspended for 90 days, and then released back into the pool of available IDs for any Comcast customer that wants to claim it. But you can try calling Comcast security and see if they can reinstate it for you---------------------
