Deleted a Global Address - folder "6"

A certain collected email autopopulates my TO: line.  This is an unwanted email.  Note that address is in fact my personal comcast account - but it has a incorrect display name.   But the system treats as aseparatecontact entry.

I looked through my collected email list , and this address does not appear.   However, if I type the address into the search function, the program finds it.

When I try to delete this address, the message reads "You do not have permission to delete objects from the folder "6".   See image below.

@fauxtom Just to clarify, is this happening when you are composing an email and typing the email address in the "To:" line, and a different email than what you are trying to type is autopopulating? Is it an email that you have either received emails from in the past or have emailed in the past?

yes.  I open the email window wanting to write to my wife [Edit: Personal Information Removed] (her email is something like [Edit: Personal Information Removed]).  As soon as I type a “c”, the auto populate shows a collected name of [Edit: Personal Information Removed].   But the associated email address is mine [Edit: Personal Information Removed].  So somehow this was collected in the past.

fauxtom, Thank you for confirming. This is indeed a very interesting and unique situation. Are you using a third-party app like Outlook, or do you check your email directly on the Xfinity website? Did this recently start to populate or have yo nocite this for some time?

I am generally using the Xfinity mobile App on my iPhone.  But same thing hasppens on the website interface.   I have noticed this for a long time.   Its like a buufer or list ne ver got cleared out as intended.

fauxtom, I was curious if you have any browser extensions or any settings that would be causing this. Have you checked different browsers? If you open your email using a private or incognito tab, does the same thing occur?
