Create Filter Rules

When the email transition to Yahoo Mail happens, I wonder if there will be a way to create filter rules for emails. For example, you could play a sound for emails from specific senders. You could even display a custom notification for emails from that sender.

Yahoo Mail has filters, but they are even more limited then Comcast/Xfinity's filters. I don't see any way to do the things you mentioned in either system. Some email clients might have a way to do these.

@BruceW I sometimes use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (I know, older software on a Windows 10 machine). I know that one has those kind of email rules and actions. With Outlook 2003, I also use Spamaid, a filter that lets you specify what type of emails are classified as junk mail, along with specifying what words and phrases to filter as junk mail. I purchased that one for $29.00 on November 19, 2012.
