Connection times out retrieving email

I unable to retrieve my comcast email via my PC after logging in to xfinity.net.

 

In Chrome: "This site can’t be reachedconnect.xfinity.com took too long to respond."

In Firefox: "The connection has timed out The server at connect.xfinity.com is taking too long to respond."

In Edge: "Hmmm… can't reach this page connect.xfinity.com took too long to respond"


I can retrieve my mail via the phone app.

I have no issue accessing any other websites or other pages on the Xfinity site.

DITTO! Exact same problem on my desktop with three different browsers. Tried rebooting, rebooted the Xfinity modem, cleared cookies, etc. Started about a week ago. No problem with the Xfinity app on my Android phone.

Go to the discussion thread at the link above posted by Anon1532942. Same issue, and there is a solution there if you're feeling brave. It worked for me.
