Composing an email

I am stuck!  My compose window cannot be maximized. I've tried everything and can't get it to expand.  Ergo, I don't have access to the toolbar items like I used to have.  HELP!

For whatever reason TPTB decided that window size was perfect for composing an email.  Try using ctrl and the - [minus] key to reduce the size of your window.

Can you please tell me how you are accessing your email? Is it via a third party email client such as Outlook or via the Xfinity website? Also can you please tell me what error message you are receiving so we can better assist?
