How are you trying to access the email? Using only a browser and the webmail UI? Or a client like Outlook or Thunderbird? The mail app on a phone? What happens when you try to sign into the account?
Only you would know what the Xfinity password you set is. If you do not recall it, please go to https://xfinity.com/password to reset it
