Comcast.net email migrated to Yahoo – Thunderbird OAuth works but Yahoo Mail login fails

My Comcast.net email account has been migrated to Yahoo.

The mailbox itself appears to be working correctly:

  • Thunderbird connects to imap.mail.yahoo.com
  • Authentication method is OAuth2
  • I can send and receive email successfully only from Thunderbird.

However, I cannot access Yahoo Mail in a browser. Xfinity correctly redirects me to Yahoo Mail and Yahoo recognizes my @comcast.net account, but the browser login fails. Earlier I also received the message "No recovery options listed."

Because the mailbox is functioning through OAuth2, this appears to be an account migration or browser authentication issue rather than a Thunderbird configuration or password problem.

Could an Official Xfinity Employee please review my account and, if necessary, escalate this to the team that supports migrated Comcast.net email accounts? Thank you.
