Comcast Migration to Yahoo has ruined my email
My folders of vital emails are mostly empty. I did each step presented for the migration and based on the alerts that everything would be "same" and listed all items would transfer - I find myself in a desperate disruption of my life. I tried a few Help I saw online - but nothing worked. I've been Comcast aka Xfinity well over 20 years. I can't believe this is happening. Please help! Need CLEAR, EASY, QUICK, AND SUCCESSFUL RETRIEVAL OF MY INFORMATION.

This finally got straightened out after 4 days total. You can take this off reminders. I remain with the annoyance of so many ads and are hard to delete. I'm probably going to have to go to Premium Yahoo. I know my Comcast bill included email - I'm watching to see if my monthly charge goes down - prices never seem to go down but in this case, it should.

Like some other services Comcast has provided over the years, email has never been a line item in your account. They have always considered it to be an extra feature. What you are paying for is the actual internet connection. They have discontinued other things like the calendar, and the note-taking function, among others I'm forgetting at the moment. In fact, Comcast is about the last major ISP to sunset it's email accounts. Others have been doing it for several years, like Verizon, Charter, AT&T and more.
