Comcast emails disappearing in the Inbox
I placed my phone (accidentally) on the tip of my space bar so every site/tab I had opened kept on scrolling down. (since hitting the space bar means your page will scroll down)
So this happened when I was looking at my emails so I didn't understand why until later...
Then I refreshed the page and then my inbox's emails were removed up until September 30th, 2020.
I looked at the spam/trash folder and the rest of my folders and couldn't find the missing emails from my inbox.
What happened? I refreshed the page on my computer and I couldn't find them. I also looked on my phone and it was refreshed to be the same as the one on the website.
Should I call customer service for help? Should I just wait?
(Also if someone has the phone number for customer service and placed it underneath this, then that would be great.)

I have a similar problem. When I purposely delete an email in my inbox and it goes to the trash box, and then I hit the space bar, enter key or shift key, the next (lower) email gets deleted to the trash box accidently and that accidental process will continue if you keeping hitting the space bar/enter key/shift key. I have experimented enough with other people that it does not matter what broswer you use, what kind of computer you have or whether or not the email was new or opened in the inbox. The way to avoid this is to click the mouse on a blank spot on the Comcast email page after you are finished deleting emails purposely. Also, avoid waking your computer screen by hitting the space bar, if the computer itelf has not gone to sleep. This can cause accidental email deletion problems if the last thing you did was purposly delete an email.
I have had 2 online sessions with my Dell warranty people and they seem to think it is a Comcast problem. I started having the problem around November 3, 2020. This was also the same day that I downloaded Windows 10 Version 2004. This may be a coincident but I never had this accidental email deletion problem before that. I think it may be the way the Comcast email system works with The Windows 10 Version 2004 but I don't know for sure. Microsoft had problems with the intial introduction of their Windows 10 Version 2004 update and coincidently many people reported problems with their email on this Comcast forum on November 3 or 4 , 2020. Their problems were worse than ours and may not be related.
I contacted Comcast about this problem. The initial person I spoked to blamed it on my Dell computer, which can't be, because it happened on a HP and another geneic computer. I exlained the problem to her supervisor, Michael, on 2/15/2021 and he said he would get back to me in 2 days. It's been 6 days and I have not heard from him yet.
I read my Comcast email only on my smart phone for several and did not have a problem.
If anybody has another suggestion I would welcome that.

I am going to escalate this to the forum admins for follow-up. Using my Dell Windows 10 laptop I was able to do the same thing you are describing. I tried with Edge, Firefox and Vivaldi and in all three the same thing happened. It also happens using my iMac desktop computer. So I don't think it's anything to do with the computer itself. We should see a response from a Comcast employee in this thread.

This makes me dislike using my Comcast email on my desktop and makes me like using my phone, but it also makes me want to switch my main email to a Gmail account because I can't be losing important emails...
Like if my emails were sent to the trash accidentally then that'd be okay, but it disappeared which is crazy

If you find out what is causing this issue, could you bring it back into this thread so others can see what is going on? So far it looks like a thing with the Appsuite software rather than a browser or OS system.
