comcast email

I cannot get my account added to a third party app (apple mail).  It does not accept my password.  Very frustrating!

@XfinityJoe​ This does not answer my question.  I am able to sign on to my Comcast (Xfinity) web email using my email and password.  Why would I have to change my password for apple mail?  It won't accept it.  Says my account cannot be verified.

user_rlh8pq sometimes a password reset will resolve this issue. I recommend clearing cache, cookies, and history on your device and making sure you still can log into your Comcast.net email. This will confirm if the username is still active.
