comcast email problems

What is wrong with Comcast mail and email clients?  My comcast email accounts work fine with the Apple mail clients on my iPhone and iPads when I am at home on my Comcast wifi or in my home city via cellular connection (on the phone).  However now, when I travel away from home, my email clients won't connect.  The client, (Mail on the iPhone and iPad), generates a pop-up asking for the password.  When I enter my password, it still won't connect.  Yes, when I use the Xfinity web mail connection, it does show new emails.  But the Xfinity web mail connection in the app is extremely clunky, and inconvenient to use regularly.  What is the answer?  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  We travel frequently and need reliable email service!

Hey alcessnapilot , Thank you for reaching out to us here on Xfinity Forums. We can certainly try a few things to figure out what is causing the email clients to not work when you are travelling. We would maybe want to check that certain settings are set up correctly first. One article would be to make sure your access to 3rd party emails is set up correctly. If that looks all good you would also want to check that your email POP Port settings are setup correctly as well. Let us know if either of these helped resolve the issue and we can go from there.
