Comcast email password reset on home wifi

When trying to get back into my comcast email I was asked to reset the password on my home wifi, but it still says it when I am on my home wifi.

Hi Thomas. I was informed by Xfinity that to use my comcast email again I would have to reset the password. When I attempt to reset the password it tells me it can only be changed when I am connected to my home wifi. Very similar to what happens to this person in this discussion post: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/signin-and-account-management/resetting-old-email/65823bf5e4ada5345193bb88
