comcast email out of date

Why am I getting messages that say my comcast email is out of date?  What do I have to change?

Are you receiving an email inbox that says to update your email and does it specify why?

@XfinityNico I do not get an email in my in box.  What I get is a message at the bottom of the right-hand side of my computer screen that pops up for a second or two and says Your comcast email is out of date

I received the same one today. I think it’s fraud.

This just started happening to me three weeks ago. Did you contact the fraud dept. and figure out what was going on?

That doesn't sound right to be receiving a pop-up on your computer screen. Please contact our Customer Security Assurance Team using this link here: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse

@XfinityNico This is happening to me too.  I tried using your link, but it doesn't work anymore.  How can I get this fixed or who should I contact?

Thank you!

The link should work; I just tried it.  What happens when you try it?

I never respond to these I just read the who it’s from and who it’s to. If it doesn’t say Xfinity it’s fraud.

Hello, @Weasel699. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues obtaining new email while using Outlook. I know how important it is to always have access to incoming emails and I'm glad you can get to them on our website.

Have you recently reset your password? Just in case you weren't aware, your Xfinity username password is also your email credentials. How about removing the email from Outlook then adding it back on, have you tried that?

Thanks for confirming you haven't made any changes on your end, @Weasel699. This is definitely an issue with Outlook, especially if you're able to see new email when logging directly to our website.

I recommend you remove the email from your Outlook profile and then add it back on there. Hopefully, this helps refresh and/or update the settings. Please let me know if the issue persist after completing this troubleshooting step.
