Comcast/Xfinity may have zapped your email address. If you don't have a Comcast.net email address, you can't open https://connect.xfinity.com.
If you don't have a Comcast.net email address, attempting to open https://connect.xfinity.com doesn't tell you that you can't do that. Instead, it redirects to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-email-information, which fails to explain what is happening. They could fix this for a few pennies, but they prefer to keep all the pennies for themselves.
