Comcast email being closed

I've gotten messages stating "Final reminder from Xfinity: The Comcast.net email account you have not used in 2 years will be closed in a few days unless you reactivate it now. Learn more: https://t.xfinity.com/emailactivity". However, while I have two emails on file, one being my comcast (from when the xfinity account was set up) and the other being my personal gmail account, I must ask whether the closing of my comcast email account will hinder my xfinity service. I ask this knowing that my Xfinity username utilizes the comcast email as the username to login. My hope is that since the gmail account is listed in my information, xfinity services can still run with that email account connected without necessitating the activity of my comcast email. However, since the comcast email is my username, I am unsure whether this substitution can occur at all.

When I go to click on the email icon, it prompts me to login. After I login, the page takes me back to the original page where I first attempted to click on the email icon. It does this in loop. Thoughts?

@RG4441  Thanks for trying. Have you tried using a different device? How about using another browser, have you tried that?

It worked only after I tried another browser (Chrome) tab in incognito mode. Go figure! Furthermore, after a successful login in that incognito tab, normal browsing tabs in other browsers (Safari) start working normally. I am now able to view the email as normal. Thank you for your help!

@RG4441  I'm glad to hear that worked! Since I have you here, is there anything else I can help you with? How's your internet service working out for you?
