Comcast Email Account Help

My mother's comcast email account has been deleted. However, she has financial and other accounts that were setup using her old comcast email account that use two-factor authentication to send emails to the now-deleted comcast account. Since she cannot currently access her comcast account, she is also locked out of several financial and other accounts since she cannot receive the two-factor authentication codes needed to login and update her account information. She needs her comcast account temporarily reactivated or have the emails from that account forwarded to her replacement email account so she can login and update her financial accounts to identify her new email address. Please advise.

@user_k05a0r thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page to reach out regarding your mothers comcast email related concerns. Are you familiar with how long this particular email address has been inactive?

About a year. Maybe a little more. But she's discovered some accounts recently that she needs to access that she had forgotten about.

Thanks for confirming, @user_k05a0r. I apologize, but once an email account is closed, the contents are not recoverable. You can find out more on our support page covering the Xfinity Email Activity Policy. Though we can't guarantee it since the email has been inactive for over a year you may have some luck working with the Customer Security Assurance team to possibly regain access to the email address. They can be reached at 1-888-565-4329 between 8:00am-12:00am (EST), seven days a week.
