Because "account information" can cover a few different things, here are the quick steps to update your login credentials, contact info, or Wi-Fi settings. The easiest and fastest way to make these changes is by using the Xfinity app on your mobile device.
If you want to update your account password, preferred email, or mobile phone number, open and sign in to the Xfinity app. Tap the Account tab at the bottom right of the screen. Select Account settings, then tap Xfinity ID and security. From here, you can tap Change Password or select your email/phone number to edit your contact details. Note: You can also manage these settings on a web browser by signing in to My Account and navigating to the Account and Identity page.
If you just need to verify what your username is, you can quickly look it up online at xfinity.com/username. If you are the primary account holder and want to change or add a secondary user login, go to the Account and Identity section online, scroll to the users list, and select the profile you wish to edit.
If you actually meant the Wi-Fi network your devices connect to at home, open the Xfinity app and sign in. Tap the WiFi tab at the bottom of the screen. Select your network, then tap Edit WiFi to update your network name or password.
