Can’t send out email from iPhone, paid!

Can’t send out Comcast mail in about 3 months. Reset mail at iPhone, confirmed all port numbers, but no help!

user_z74ln6 Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. One thing to check is whether you can receive Comcast emails but just can't send them. Even when the server settings and port numbers look correct, a few common issues can prevent emails from sending:
  • The outgoing mail server (SMTP) isn't turned on.
  • The username isn't entered as your full Comcast email address.
  • The password saved on the iPhone is outdated or incorrect.
  • More than one outgoing server is listed, and the wrong one is set as the primary server.

A good test is to sign in to your Comcast email using https://connect.xfinity.com and try sending an email from there. If that works, the issue is likely with the mail settings on the iPhone rather than the email account itself. Are you able to receive emails normally? Also, do you see an error message when sending? That information can help narrow down the cause.
