can't send email

Recently comcast is making me change password constantly. After that I cannot send emails through Outlook. I can receive emails.  Spent hours on phone each time. Today it cannot be resolved.  think i need to get to advanced settings but it is grayed out and can't select it. Help

Chelmsford9 Have you attempted to reboot the computer? Typically Outlook would have those options grayed out if there was some type of change that had been input or in process of updating.
