can't receive email

I am an email only customer because our current account is in my wifes name.  I had an account for many years and kept my email address.  My email was hacked this afternoon and I contacted Comcast and we changed my password.  After this I have not been able to receive any emails in my inbox since 3:36 PM.  The techincal rep gave me this sight to try and correct the problem.  Also, all of my inbox was deleted as well as my sent mails, but I was able to recover the inbox from my trash.

@christrimmer It is likely that when your account got compromised, whoever got access deleted the emails. Good to hear that you were able to recover them though! now for the email receiving issue - i dont see any issue with the account, please check for any filters that may be set up. usually when an email address gets compromise, the individual(s) doing it will create custom email filters and email forwarding. Generally to delete any bounceback emails. If you need help in finding them, please utilize the following guide:

the "Filter Rules" section is the one to look out for. Generally if there is anything there - just delete all of them.
