Can’t get Comcast email on IOS mail app

Two days ago when I tried to access my Comcast email on my iPad I got an error message saying my username and password were not recognized. I  deleted comcast in the mail app and changed my password on the xfinity site. Now when I try to add the Comcast mail I get an error message saying ”The username or password for smtp.comcast.net is incorrect.”  I’ve tried shutting off the iPad and adding the Comcast email multiple times and keep getting the same error message. 

i’ve tried to change the password on the iPad password page. When I click change password the message “Safari could not open the page because it couldn’t connect to the server.”

i have no idea what the issue is or what I should try next. I have the same issue on my iPhone.
