Cannot send email from MacMail
Hello,
I'm on Mac Mail version 16.0 and I'm not able to send emails from my account on either my laptop or on my phone. I haven't changed any settings and I am able to receive email without any problem. The dialog box that appears asks for a password which I've entered correctly multiple times and it still does not solve the problem.
Also, my other Comcast email address ( [Edited: "Personal Information"]) works fine. I've gone into the preferences and the settings for both email accounts appear to be exactly the same.
The alert that appears when I try to send email from my Comcast account says:
The sender address [Edited: "Personal Information"] was rejected by the server smtp.comcast.net.
The server response was: Authentication required
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.
Thanks!

Hello there!
Thank you for taking the time to post your concerns here to our forums. Our team here is doing to do our best to help you out!
Have you tried sending the email from a different device?
I would also restart your modem and log out and log back into the email application to see if that helps. Let us know!
