Cannot send email from Kindle Fire 10

Since about 10 days ago, my Kindle Fire gets an error message when sending email.  The error on the Kindle just states: "Connection problem (Comcast)", and the email fails to go out.  I am able to receive emails fine.

I saw an article that discussed a setting on xfinity.com to allow access to third party email programs, and turned it ON, but this did not resolve my issue - outgoing emails still fail.

Settings on the Kindle:

Outgoing:

SMTP Server: smtp.comcast.net

Use same credentials for incoming and outgoing servers.

Use secure connection (SSL)

Port: 465

INCOMING:

POP3 Server

mail.comcast,net

Username: myusername

Password:  mypassword

Use secure connection

Port: 995

Thanks!

Hi there, @user_a4d7fe. Thank you for reaching out and creating a post. Here is a link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email for the settings required for setting up the email through third-party applications. Please keep in mind that if the device is using Android Mail it may no longer be supported. Please let us know if these settings work for you.
