cannot access email

Everytime I log-in to my email it lets me, but everytime I actually try to go to my inbox it takes me to the home screen on the website. Is it possible that if my mom terminated our xfinity services that I can't access my email because of that? If so, how can I access it to update my other accounts with my new email. Please help.
