Can someone from Xfinity please assist with issues receiving emails ?

I can send emails from my comcast.net email account but i am not receiving emails on my phone or on my PC.   I Googled Xfinity email tech support phone and Google indicated for me to call 844-439-2408.  The Tech(Dexter) was extremely pushy and asked me to start a LogMeIn123 session...i disconnected the call, feeling it could be a scam.   Can someone from Xfinity please assist ?
