Can no longer send emails

I am able to receive emails on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.  I have IOS 26.3.

My ability to send emails stopped around the time that IOS 18 was released.  I tried adding new outgoing server but it would never seem to save.

very frustrating not to be able to send email at this point.

any guidance would be appreciated

Yes the server is toggled on.

using smtp.comcast.net

SSL toggled on

outgoing port 587

Okay good to know. Can you try removing your comcast.net email client completely and then re-add it to see if anything changes with the outgoing email behavior?

Hi There

so I finally had time to do as you asked and deleted my account.

and just as I was afraid of it didn’t bring it back 100% like it was.  

it added as a POP server and not an IMAP Server

 All of my folders that are on the server did not sync back to my iPhone.  So I have lost half of the data locally to my IPhone.

Please advise how I can sync my folders back now that you had me delete my account

Was able to make manually add as an imap server with

incoming server:

imap.comcast.net 

SSL on

Port 993

All of my folders  and subfolders are on the server.

Myself and others are having the same issue- we cannot send emails! Past frustrating that we cannot use the services we pay for. Tried using chat feature, but that is not customer service focused. Why have blocked the option to send emails.

Yea it was working for 2 days and now back to not being able to send emails again and they [Edit: Language] me up by having me delete my account and recreate it

So you asked me to delete my email account and I did.  When i recreated it 

I lost all my folders on my iPhone.  They are still on the server.  My account is created using the following:  

incoming:  imap.comcast.net

port 993

SSL on

outbound:

smtp.comcast.net

port 587

SSL On

After I deleted account as you all asked I was able to send email for all of 2 days.

i have never lost the ability to receive email. 

but again deleting and recreating my account I no longer have my subfolders locally on my Iphone

That’s unacceptable.  

That I can’t use email on my iPhone.  What am I paying you all almost $300 for if I can’t use the features ai am paying for.

Att is looking really good right now and I have been a customer since the 80’s when I first had your service in VA.

Your response is unacceptable especially after doing what you told me to do [Edited: "Language"] email on my IPhone
