Both parents' active Comcast.net email addresses seem to have been deleted today. "ID was not correct."

Hi.

Hi My mom uses her Comcast.net email every day including this morning. However, now she cannot log in. It won't even allow her to get to the password input. "The Xfinity ID or password you entered was incorrect. Please try again."

All recovery options result in, "This information doesn't match our records." Dad's email which has been active in the last 6 months seems to be the same.

They were under the impression they could keep their comcast.net emails despite no longer having the service for as long as they want. They haven't had Xfinity in 2-3 years maybe.

I currently have Xfinity which is why I am able to post this question on their behalf.

So the email addresses are just gone? Any idea as to why?

Edit: The issue seems to have resolved itself. They were able to log in to the emails the next morning.

Hi there, @CZ12345 I definitely understand your parent's concerns regarding not being able to log into their Xfinity email account. As a non-Xfinity customer, they can keep their email account as long as they meet the following, Log in to the Xfinity Email website at least once every 12 months. If your parents disconnected Xfinity service, did they  log in to their account within 90 days of disconnecting.-Richard

@XfinityRichard Hi Richard. It must have been some kind of glitch or down time. They were both able to log in the next morning. I put an "Edit," at the bottom of my post but I can see it is not that visible. Thanks for your reply
