blocked email sender experience

What happens or what experience to the sender of a "blocked sender" of email to me, after I've blocked it.

I've tested it by blocking MyEmail_2 on MyEmail_1 account here. I've sent a test, I see no response in my inbox on MyEmail_2 account. Such as bounced, undeliverable, blah, blah.

I've waited for about 10 minutes.

Are you asking about Xfinity Connect in a browser, or some other app or program? I don't see a "block sender" action in XC webmail.

Have you tried webmail's "Reject with reason" Action?

I figured it out, 5 minutes after posting. That is. I'm supposed to configure the "reason". meaning what the return email indicates to the sender.

In fact. The original email sent to me is not "blocked", but instead simply replied to via a "rule". Only the most inexperienced of recipients, in my opinion, would think it was "blocked".  Any automated spam emailing tool will continue to send. I'm guessing will even score the reply as a successful send.

However, I least now understand the tool.

Thanks.
