AUTHENTICATION ERROR TEMPORARILY BLACKLISTED HELP

I have my Comcast email routed in Gmail but since last month it has the above-noted error.  How can I fix this once and for all?  I tried chatting with a live person, but the "assistant" wouldn't connect me.

Hello, @Missy thank you for taking time out of your day to create a post. You've contacted the right place for assistance, I know how important it is to have access to your email communications and want to help ensure you're able to get back in.

I know you mentioned the issue is happening when routing through Gmail, do you receive the same error when logging in directly through our website and trying to access your email: https://www.xfinity.com/overview ?

- How are you trying to access the email?

We did ask users to update their password, if you had updated your password that does need to be updated inside the 3rd party client settings as well: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email .

Thank you for your response.

I do not receive them same issue when going to the website to access my mail.  I did update my password in both xfinity and gmail.

@Missy I appreciate the update that you have updated the password in both places, not updating in one portion can cause issues. Please be mindful that sending unsolicited Direct Messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Community Forum is a violation of Forum Guidelines. If needed, we may invite you to send us a Direct Message.

Since you have already sent the DM, I'll follow up with you there to troubleshoot further. Thank you.
