If you are using Mac Mail, yes, there is a setting for getting a sound alert. If you are using only the webmail interface and a browser-------no. The Appsuite email software has no provision for sound alerts. In Mac Mail click on Preferences--------------General. Here is what it looks like on my iMac running Catalina-------------
Thanks. I had found the place to turn on sound notification for MacMail and sort of realized that I could not do it for Comcast Mail. I hoped I was missing something. 😞
