attachment not working

HI!  When I go to attach a doc or pic to an email in my Xfinity email account, there is no reponse when I hit the attach button. It does not take me to desktop or any files?? Just nothing. Any ideas?

Try refreshing the page.  If it's not that,  try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session. If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.  I'm assuming you are using the webmail interface to access your email.

I am unable to add an attachment to emails when using Safari on my laptop.  Weirdly it was working a few days ago.  I clear my browser and history after each session and shut  down the laptop, still doesn't work.  I can attach files using Chrome.

I just tried with Safari on my iMac and it works just as it should.  Try signing out of the account and back in again.
