Apple mail unable to access Comast email

All my apple devices no longer communicate with Comcast email. I can access my Comcast email via internet on Safari but not using the Apple mail app. Have been using apple mail to access Comcast email for decades.(Diamond)

Tried to use chat to work through this but don't have the patience with restricted options. Also noticed that a phone # for support is very illusive. The AI popup said something about Comcast email's future might be yahoo????

I have deleted Apple mail on my iPhone 16pro and then adding account back in, I get a "the user name or password for mail.comcast.net is incorrect". Also tried to switch mail settings over to imap instead of pop which got me a "Comcast is currently unavailable". When resetting up apple mail on my MacBook Air, a message "unable to verify account name or password. 

Any suggestions out there?
