If you are using the Mail apps/client on the phone and the laptop, you need to also change the password in the settings for those apps. Did you do that?

Depending on the age of your Mac or iOS device, you will need to reboot the device. Mac Mail and the mail app on iPad and IPhone will automatically show up as iMap. Once you reboot then update your password on all Apple devices it should work as expected.

On your Mac, open up mail, then preferences in the upper left. Choose the Comcast account. Under account information, check enable this account. Should be Online with a green dot. Under Server Settings, make sure email and password are correct. Incoming Mail server: Host name imap.comcast.net. Check automatically manage connection settings. Outgoing Server Comcast, email address and correct password, host name is smtp.comcast.net and check automatically manage connection settings. On your iPhone, settings, mail, accounts, Comcast, your name, email address, Comcast, host name is imap.comcast.net, email address and password. Outgoing mail server is SMTP smtp.comcast.net. Hit the arrow and make sure primary server is set to on. Additionally, not sure what area of the country you are in but there is a network outage in my area.
If all else fails you can call Apple and they were help you delete your account on your Apple devices and add them again. Good luck. Use a Mac, never go back!
