Another victim of the email folder purge
I've been reviewing older posts circa 2018 and the same thing happened to me - folders were completely deleted around the time the new format for email began.
I currently ONLY have email for one year ( rather than 4+ years ) saved in my folders, and it is essential that something that was saved prior to this timeframe be made available.
I don't access via a phone or use any unusual 3rd party software. I didn't choose to delete. Nothing is in my "trash" or concealed by a dropdown arrow.
Can Xfinity still retrieve my email from their servers?

You can try calling Comcast security and see if they can recover them for you-----------------

Out of curiosity-------did you try running a search for any of the missing messages? Like using a date range?

I did try that once more after your suggestion. I have three folders and one now only contains 8 emails, another just 3, and the most crucial folder only 36. None of them have emails that go back further than January of 2018.
Using the date search doesn't reveal any of the missing emails.
I recollect a change in the appearance of the email portion of the webpage and from what I can gather, that system or software change caused the purging.
Now that it's essential I have access to saved emails, I am faced with a real dilemma! I've obviously shifted my primary email over to Gmail but I would like to know if the Xfinity servers can retrieve my purged emails as they've done for others.
