"An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request".

I am getting the following error message when searching my email: "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request".

It occurs with Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox (even in an incognito/private browser window with no extensions). I am able to receive email normally but I cannot send email or search existing messages. This is an incredibly frustrating error and I understand it has been raised repeatedly with Xfinity before but continues to occur.

I am getting the same exact error message. I have called in, tried different browser, different devices and reset my password. None of this has helped. I use my comcast e-mail for work, so this is an emergency. Is there any fix?

@user_jse96 This doesn't happen on my iPhone. If you have access to your email on your phone, that could be an emergency alternative, although not at all satisfactory. This has been reported to Xfinity many times before, but they haven't fixed it and their chat support is useless.

Thanks for the response, but it is not working on my iPhone either. I am getting the same message there. I was on the phone with them for over 2 hours this morning and got absolutely nowhere. It started this morning for some reason.

@user_jse96 It is now working for me. Whatever it was appears to be fixed on the Xfinity server end.
